Melisaki.tumbler.com has a cool variety of car and aircraft photos, here's a couple

What happened to the high level of restroom cleanliness as the high priority? Former First lady Eleanor Roosevelt once toured the US inspecting them, and that is quite a feat of publicity!

Duct tape, the wonder tool!

During a private "fly-in" fishing excursion in the Alaskan wilderness, the chartered pilot and fishermen left a cooler and bait in the plane. And a bear smelled it. This is what he did to the plane

The pilot used his radio and had another pilot bring him 2 new tires, 3 cases of duct tape, and a supply of sheet plastic. He patched the plane together, and FLEW IT HOME! Thanks Mike for emailing me this! For more photos of the bear damage and what seems to be the source of the photos http://www.armyparatrooper.org/dropzone/showthread.php/22477-The-Many-uses-of-Duct-Tape-in-Alaska

A variety of cool stuff from Fantomatik75 blogspot

Never seen a primitive street sweeper before? Me neither

1936 Chicago, why aren't these viable parking stuctures now?

Looks like a knife sharpener, door to door, and probably early 1910's or 1920's

Unknown type of classic pre-1920's

Tail hopping 1986 Ferrari 308GTB of Tony Worswick./ Usually rallied in Europe on Tarmac events, it was well suited to the Race Retro stage. The unusual part was that as it took the ‘yump’ every time, the rear of the car would catapult high in to the air, leaving the car in a nose down position. Not unusual if the engine were in the front, but the Ferrari is a mid-engine configuration! via: http://www.sportscardigest.com/rally-stage-2010-race-retro-report-photo-gallery/

NC674H was built in November of 1929. It was owned by a detective agency in Chicago that used it to transport a gangster-sniffing bloodhound.
